Terms of use

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms govern your use of the PrayArabic app and this website, provided by Al Baqshi. By using the app or the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

What PrayArabic is

PrayArabic is a learning companion for the prayer. It teaches the order, the words and their pronunciation, and guides you step by step. It is not a religious authority:

  • It does not decide whether a prayer is valid, and it does not give religious rulings.
  • For religious questions, ask a qualified scholar or teacher.
  • Prayer times and the qibla direction are estimates calculated from your location. Where it matters, check them with your mosque or local authority.

Content

We take care that the Arabic, the transliteration and the translations are accurate, and content is reviewed before it is published. The app may show preview content whose review is not finished, and says so when it does. If you find a mistake, please tell us.

The Quran text is from the Tanzil Project (tanzil.net), Simple text version 1.1, shown verbatim under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 licence (CC BY 3.0).
